- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 2 teaspoons cornstarch

For the topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine peaches, sugars, lemon juice, spices, cornstarch, and salt. Toss gently and set aside.
- Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk. Pour batter over melted butter without stirring. Spoon peach mixture over batter without stirring.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes. Serve warm, preferably with ice cream.
