- 1 box devil’s food cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
For the Topping:
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar (12 ounces) caramel sauce
- 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
- 1/2 cup toffee bits or crushed Heath bars
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake the Cake: Prepare and bake the devil’s food cake according to the package directions.
- Add Fillings: After baking, poke holes all over the cake and pour sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce over it. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Top and Serve: Spread whipped topping over the chilled cake, sprinkle with toffee bits, and serve chilled.
