Ingredients
						Scale

			Beef Mixture
- 8 ounces ground beef
 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 - Salt or taco seasoning to taste (optional)

Tortillas & Cheese
- 8 flour tortillas
 - 4–8 cheddar cheese slices (depending on preference)

Toppings
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
 - 16 pickles

Special Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
 - 2 tablespoons ketchup
 - 1 tablespoon pickle relish
 - 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
 - Black pepper to taste

Instructions
- Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with onion powder and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the beef.
 - Portion the Meat: Divide the seasoned ground beef into four equally sized balls to ensure even cooking and convenience during preparation.
 - Spread Meat on Tortillas: Take each ground beef ball and evenly spread it over the center of a flour tortilla, leaving some space around the edges. Add salt or taco seasoning if desired to enhance flavor.
 - Make Special Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle relish, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until the sauce is smooth and well combined. Set aside.
 - Prepare the Workstation: Arrange the tortillas with spread beef, cheese slices, shredded lettuce, pickles, and the special sauce so they are ready for quick assembly after cooking.
 - Cook the Meat on Skillet or Griddle: Preheat a large skillet or griddle over high heat. Place the beef-covered side of each tortilla down onto the surface. Using a spatula or burger press, firmly smash the beef until it is thin and spread evenly across the tortilla. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is browned and crispy.
 - Flip and Add Cheese: Carefully flip the cooked tortilla using a spatula or bench scraper to avoid tearing. Reduce the heat to medium and immediately top each taco with cheddar cheese slices so the cheese melts over the beef.
 - Assemble the Tacos: Remove the cooked tacos from the skillet. Top each cheesy beef tortilla with shredded lettuce and pickles. Add the desired amount of the prepared special sauce, and any additional preferred toppings.
 - Serve: Arrange the Big Mac Tacos on a serving plate and serve hot for immediate enjoyment.

Notes
- Use fresh ground beef with around 15-20% fat for juiciness and flavor.
 - To soften tortillas further, warm them in the microwave or on the skillet for a few seconds before adding the beef.
 - Feel free to add diced onions or tomatoes for extra texture and flavor.
 - This recipe can be customized with cheddar or American cheese depending on preference.
 - Leftover tacos can be reheated on a skillet for best texture; avoid microwave for sogginess.
