Ingredients
Biscuit Dough:
1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough
Breakfast Sausage:
1 lb breakfast sausage
Gravy Mix:
1 packet (about 2.75 oz) country gravy mix (plus water as directed)
Eggs Mixture:
6 large eggs, ½ cup milk, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon salt
Additional:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and spread in the dish.
- Cook Sausage: Brown breakfast sausage in a skillet, drain grease, and set aside.
- Prepare Gravy: Make gravy according to package directions, then mix in cooked sausage.
- Whisk Eggs: In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over biscuit pieces.
- Assemble and Bake: Spoon sausage gravy over eggs, top with cheddar cheese. Bake for 35–40 minutes until set and golden.
- Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before garnishing with parsley or green onions.
