Description

A delicious fusion of cheeseburger flavors wrapped inside a crispy flour tortilla, the Cheeseburger Quesadilla combines seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, pickles, and red onion for a quick and satisfying meal perfect for any day of the week.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat Mixture

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Cheese & Fillings

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup diced pickles
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red onion

Tortillas & Cooking

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain the excess fat, then stir in salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Mix everything well and remove from heat.
  2. Assemble the Quesadillas: Lay the tortillas flat and sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over one half of each tortilla. Spoon the seasoned ground beef mixture on top of the cheese layer, then add diced pickles and chopped red onions. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the fillings, and fold the tortillas in half to enclose the filling.
  3. Cook the Quesadillas: Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil. Place each folded quesadilla onto the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted. Remove from heat.
  4. Serve: Slice the quesadillas into wedges and serve hot, optionally with extra pickles, burger sauce, or ketchup for dipping.

Notes

  • Serve with extra pickles, burger sauce, or ketchup as dipping sauces.
  • Substitute ground turkey or plant-based meat for a different protein option.
  • Add cooked bacon or sautéed mushrooms inside the quesadilla for extra flavor and texture.
