Crescent Roll Dough:
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Cheesecake Filling:
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additional:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar (mix 1 tbsp sugar + 1/2 tsp cinnamon)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare Bottom Layer: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, sealing any seams.
- Make Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
- Add Top Layer: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it on top of the cream cheese layer, pressing gently and sealing the edges.
- Finish and Bake: Pour melted butter over the top layer, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm or chilled.
