Description

These Cheesy Dynamite Chicken Buns are a spicy, cheesy, and flavorful snack perfect for any occasion. Soft dinner rolls are stuffed with a delicious mixture of seasoned chicken, spicy sriracha, creamy mayonnaise, and gooey mozzarella cheese, then baked until golden and bubbly. Main Filling:

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 pound boneless chicken breast or thighs, finely chopped or ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Additional Ingredients:

  • 6 soft dinner rolls or slider buns
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Sesame seeds and chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté Aromatics and Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and soft. Add chicken, salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Cook until chicken is fully cooked.
  2. Prepare Filling: Remove from heat and mix in sriracha and mayonnaise. Let cool slightly, then stir in mozzarella cheese.
  3. Assemble Buns: Preheat oven. Hollow out buns slightly. Fill with chicken mixture and place on a baking tray.
  4. Bake: Brush tops with melted butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley. Bake until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  5. Serve: Enjoy warm!
