Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the stuffing: In a medium bowl, combine the stuffing mix and hot water; stir and let sit for 5 minutes to absorb.
- Make the chicken mixture: In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, and mixed vegetables if using. Stir in shredded chicken.
- Assemble the casserole: Spread the chicken mixture in the baking dish. Fluff the stuffing with a fork and spread it over the chicken. Drizzle with melted butter.
