- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, and mix until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
- Add chocolate chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Bake: Scoop the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are just set.
- Cool: Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
