Description

These Christmas Sugar Cookie Truffles are a delightful holiday treat that’s perfect for gifting or sharing at festive gatherings. Made with crushed sugar cookies, cream cheese, and white chocolate, these no-bake truffles are easy to make and bursting with sweet, seasonal flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

Sugar Cookie Truffles:

  • 2 cups baked sugar cookies, finely crushed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Coating and Decoration:

  • 10 oz white chocolate or white candy melts, melted
  • Red, green, and white sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Truffle Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the finely crushed sugar cookies, softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until the texture is soft and dough-like.
  2. Form the Truffles: Scoop the mixture into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll until smooth. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
  3. Coat the Truffles: Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate using a fork, allowing the excess to drip off. Place back on the parchment-lined sheet and immediately top with holiday sprinkles. Let the chocolate set completely at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.

Notes

  • You can use leftover homemade or store-bought sugar cookies.
  • For extra holiday flair, flavor the mixture with a drop of peppermint or almond extract.
  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
