Apple Topping:
- 2 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
- Prepare French Toast: In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon butter. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, coating both sides, and place on the skillet. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Make Apple Topping: For the apple topping, heat 1 tablespoon butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add the sliced apples, maple syrup or brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft and caramelized.
- Serve: Serve the French toast hot, topped with the warm cinnamon apples. Add extra maple syrup if desired.
