Description

  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage (optional, for color)

Dressing:

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar (or honey)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp celery seed (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: In a large bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, purple cabbage (if using), and carrots.
  2. Make the Dressing: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine and Chill: Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
