  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the sauce:

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
