  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Filling:

  • 1 cup seedless raspberry jam
  • 1 1/4 cups dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds or chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in vanilla.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Mix in flour and salt to form a dough.
  4. Prepare crust: Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan.
  5. Add filling: Spread jam, chocolate chips, remaining dough, and nuts on top.
  6. Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden. Cool before slicing.
