Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling:
- 1 cup seedless raspberry jam
- 1 1/4 cups dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds or chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars: Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Mix in vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients: Mix in flour and salt to form a dough.
- Prepare crust: Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan.
- Add filling: Spread jam, chocolate chips, remaining dough, and nuts on top.
- Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden. Cool before slicing.
