- 2 ¾ to 3 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Dissolve and sprinkle yeast on top. Let sit until foamy. Add oil, salt, and gradually mix in flour.
- Knead Dough: Turn out the dough, knead for 6–8 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Shape and Rise: Punch down dough, shape into loaf, place in pan. Let rise for 30–40 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and hollow sounding. Cool on a wire rack.
