Description

Indulge in the ultimate combination of savory and sweet with this Garlic Herb Sourdough Bread Stuffed with Brie and Cranberry Sauce. This pull-apart bread is a perfect appetizer or side dish for any festive occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Sourdough Bread:

  • 1 large round sourdough bread loaf

Brie and Cranberry Filling:

  • 8 ounces brie cheese, cut into small chunks
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce

Garlic Herb Butter:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the bread: Slice the bread in a crosshatch pattern without cutting all the way through. Separate the sections slightly.
  3. Make the garlic herb butter: Combine melted butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Spread the mixture into the bread crevices.
  4. Fill the bread: Stuff brie into the cuts and add cranberry sauce next to the brie.
  5. Bake: Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
  6. Serve: Serve warm as a delightful appetizer or side dish.

Notes
