- 1 cup pecan halves
Caramel Filling:
- 1/2 cup soft caramel candies (about 20)
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
Chocolate Coating:
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable oil
Topping:

Instructions
- Prepare Pecan Clusters: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange pecan halves in clusters of 3–4 to resemble a turtle’s head and legs.
- Make Caramel Filling: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramels and heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of caramel onto each pecan cluster.
- Set Caramel and Coat with Chocolate: Allow the caramel to cool. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil, then spoon over each caramel cluster. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
- Chill and Serve: Chill the turtles in the fridge until set, about 20–30 minutes.
Notes
- For enhanced flavor, lightly toast the pecans before assembling.
