- 2 cups cold milk
- 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
Instructions
- Prepare the Cake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Prepare chocolate cake batter according to package directions and pour into the prepared dish.
- Make the Ricotta Layer: In a medium bowl, mix ricotta cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Spoon ricotta mixture evenly over the cake batter.
- Bake: Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- Prepare the Pudding Layer: In a large bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Fold in whipped topping until smooth.
- Assemble: Spread pudding mixture over the cooled cake. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
