Description

This July Patriotic Fruit Salad is a refreshing and colorful dish perfect for any summer gathering. Bursting with fresh strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, and jicama or apple stars, it’s lightly dressed with a honey-lime vinaigrette for a touch of sweetness. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a festive flair!


Ingredients

For the salad:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups seedless watermelon, cut into star shapes
  • 2 cups jicama or apple, cut into star shapes

For the dressing:

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Optional garnish:

  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine strawberries, blueberries, watermelon stars, and jicama or apple stars.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey and lime juice until smooth.
