Description

These Keto Air Fryer Corn Dogs are a low-carb twist on a classic fair favorite. With a flavorful almond flour batter and juicy beef hot dogs, they are a delicious snack or appetizer that can be easily made in the air fryer for a crispy finish.

Ingredients

Scale

Batter:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Wet Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon granular erythritol or preferred keto sweetener

Additional:

  • 6 beef hot dogs
  • 6 wooden skewers
  • Optional sugar-free ketchup or mustard for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat eggs, almond milk, melted butter, and sweetener until combined.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until a thick batter forms.
  5. Coat Hot Dogs: Pat hot dogs dry and insert a skewer into each. Coat each hot dog in batter, ensuring an even coverage.
  6. Air Fry: Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray, arrange corn dogs in a single layer, and air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Serve: Serve warm with sugar-free ketchup or mustard.

Notes

  • Batter will be thicker than traditional corn dog batter; press it on by hand for best coverage.
  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray coated corn dogs with oil before cooking.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month; reheat in air fryer.
