- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Skillet:
- 2 cups small broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 10 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
- Prepare the Skillet: In the same skillet, cook broccoli for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and simmer. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Add tortellini, cover, and simmer for 4–5 minutes.
- Combine and Serve: Return cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir in butter until melted. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

- Use pre-cooked or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Substitute frozen broccoli or add mushrooms/spinach for variety.
- Sprinkle mozzarella on top before serving for extra cheesiness.
