Description

These Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers are a fun and delicious twist on classic sliders, featuring crispy tater tots as the bun for juicy mini cheeseburgers. Perfect for parties, game days, or a unique appetizer!

Ingredients

Scale

Tater Tots:

  • 24 frozen tater tots

Cheeseburgers:

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
  • 12 pickle slices
  • 12 small pieces of lettuce or shredded lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup or burger sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
  • toothpicks for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the tater tots on a lined baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy. Let cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the cheeseburgers: Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Shape into 12 small meatballs, then flatten into mini patties. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes per side until fully cooked. Top each patty with a small square of cheese and allow it to melt slightly.
  3. Assemble: Place a tater tot on the bottom, stack a mini cheeseburger patty, pickle slice, and lettuce. Top with another tater tot. Secure each stack with a toothpick. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard, if desired, or serve sauces on the side for dipping.
