Description

  • 1 bottle dry white wine (750 ml, such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 1/2 cup peach schnapps
  • 1/4 cup brandy (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries or raspberries (optional)
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water, chilled
  • fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, peach schnapps, brandy (if using), and sugar or honey. Stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
  2. Add the sliced peaches, orange, lemon, and berries if using. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Just before serving, stir in the chilled club soda or sparkling water for a fizzy finish.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint if desired.

Notes

  • For a sweeter sangria, use Moscato or Riesling instead of dry white wine.
  • You can freeze sliced peaches and use them in place of ice cubes to keep drinks cold without dilution.
