Peanut Butter Ramen Noodles are a quick, creamy, and flavorful twist on classic ramen. Made with a rich, savory peanut sauce and simple pantry ingredients, this easy meal is ready in minutes and perfect for lunch, dinner, or a satisfying late-night bite.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 (3-ounce) pack instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packet)
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce (optional)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons hot water (from cooked noodles)

Optional Toppings

  • Chopped green onions
  • Crushed peanuts
  • Sesame seeds
  • Shredded carrots
  • Steamed veggies

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions without adding the seasoning packet. Once cooked, drain the noodles and carefully reserve 2 tablespoons of the hot cooking water for the sauce.
  2. Prepare the peanut sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar or lime juice, sesame oil, sriracha (if using), minced garlic, and the reserved hot water. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  3. Toss noodles with sauce: Add the drained noodles to the bowl with the peanut sauce and toss thoroughly until all noodles are well coated with the sauce.
  4. Serve: Transfer the coated noodles to a serving bowl and garnish with your favorite optional toppings such as chopped green onions, crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, shredded carrots, or steamed vegetables. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Add cooked chicken, tofu, or a soft-boiled egg to increase protein content.
  • For a cold noodle salad variation, rinse noodles in cold water after cooking and serve chilled with the peanut sauce and toppings.
