Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2–3 minutes, until light and creamy.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating on low after each addition to prevent a sugar cloud. Once all sugar is incorporated, add the vanilla extract, salt, and 2 tablespoons of cream or milk. Beat on medium-high speed for 2–3 more minutes, until the frosting is fluffy and spreadable. Add a little more cream if needed to reach your desired consistency.
