Pizza Dough:
- 1 pound pizza dough, room temperature
Steak and Vegetables:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
Cheese and Seasonings:
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese (optional)
Egg Wash:
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook Steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook steak slices seasoned with salt and pepper until browned, then set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, cook onions and bell peppers until softened.
- Prepare Stromboli: Roll out pizza dough, layer steak, vegetables, and cheese, fold dough over the filling, seal edges, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Let rest, slice, and serve warm with marinara sauce if desired.

- For an authentic touch, use Cheez Whiz instead of shredded cheese.
