  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice
  • Lemon slices and extra strawberries, for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)


Instructions

  1. Blend Strawberries: In a blender, combine the strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until completely smooth.
  2. Strain Mixture: Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds, if desired.
  3. Add Lemon Juice and Sugar: Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
  4. Combine with Water: Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir well to mix all ingredients evenly.
  5. Add Ice and Chill: Add the ice to the pitcher and refrigerate the lemonade until it’s well chilled and ready to serve.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Serve the strawberry lemonade over ice and garnish with lemon slices, extra strawberries, and fresh mint leaves if desired.
