Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Mixture: Place the beef, onion, garlic, and mushrooms into the slow cooker. Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  2. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until the beef is tender.
  3. Thicken (Optional): If you’d like a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  4. Finish: Just before serving, stir in the sour cream until well blended. Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
