Rigatoni Pasta:
- 12 ounces rigatoni pasta
Sauce:

- 1 pound spicy Italian sausage (casings removed)

- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Boil salted water and cook rigatoni until al dente. Reserve pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: Brown sausage in olive oil, add onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer, then add cream and Parmesan.
- Combine: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, adding reserved water if needed.
