Instructions

- Add egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

- Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Shape and bake: Roll dough into 1-inch balls, coat each ball in pastel-colored sanding sugar, place on the baking sheet, and bake for 8–10 minutes until set.
- Add chocolate kisses: Press one chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
- Cool and serve: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
