Steak:
- 1/2 pound shaved or thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Scrambled Eggs:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Extras:
- 2 slices American or cheddar cheese
- Optional: sautéed onions or bell peppers, hot sauce or mayo for serving
Instructions
- Cook the Steak: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced steak in olive oil until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
- Prepare the Eggs: Whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat, add eggs, and cook gently until just set and fluffy.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Toast the bagels. Layer steak, scrambled eggs, and a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bagel. Add optional toppings. Top with the other bagel half and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, melt the cheese over the steak in the pan before assembling.
