- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Shape into a loaf and place on the prepared sheet. Spread ½ cup ketchup over the top.
- Bake: Bake for 50–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Make the mashed sweet potatoes: Boil sweet potatoes until tender, then mash with butter, milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until smooth.
